VERY IMPORTANT

All *.pl files should be uploaded in ASCII transfer mode.

All *.pl files should be set to permissions (CHMOD) 755.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Log into your Ascad Networks account and download the following files:

Upgrade: v_._ (?)

Password Protector SD v1.3

2. Extract the "Password Protector SD v1.3" ZIP file to your local hard drive.

3. Backup all of these files on your server before proceeding:

/cgi-bin/ppSD

/cgi-bin/c7

/public_html/ppSD

/public_html/c7

4. Upload all new "cgi-bin" *.pl files to the following directories (the ZIP file's structure will mimic the structure on your server):

/cgi-bin/ppSD

/cgi-bin/c7

5. Upload all new "public_html" files to the following directories (the ZIP file's structure will mimic the structure on your server):

/public_html/ppSD

/public_html/c7

6. Extract the "Upgrade: v_._" ZIP file to your local hard drive.

7. Upload "c7_update.pl" to the /cgi-bin/c7/ folder.

8. Set permissions on all files according to the "VERY IMPORTANT" note above.

9. From your web browser, visit the following URL:

http://www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/c7/c7_update.pl

10. If all directions were followed correctly, the upgrade process should be complete.
