My control panel does not have images or colors!

The reason that images and colors are not appearing on your control panel is because the options were not properly created during the setup or were deleted from the MySQL table structure. To solve this problem, do the following:

  • Download this file.
  • Unzip the contents.
  • Open make_sql.php in notepad ("Start" > "Run" > "notepad")
  • Edit lines 3 and 4 to reflect your MySQL database server, username, password (line 3) and database name (line 4)
  • Upload the file to your /public_html/c7/ folder.
  • Run the make_sql.php file from your web browser.
  • Log into your Password Protector SD control panel and navigate to http://www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/ppSD/admin.pl?L=options
  • Update the first three options to reflect the proper URLs and paths on your server. Also update the path to the images folder.
  • Update the options: the control panel should appear properly.
